Rain forest is a kind of forest that located around the equator region. This forest has a high temperature. The temperature in this kind of forest is around 25 degree celcious. Beside that, this kind of forest has a high amount of rainfall too. Its around 200-450 centimeters per year. This forest has many high, big, and leafy plants that become it's characteristics.
Many organisms live in their habitats in the rain forest. Some rare species like the family of Rafflesia, a family of parasitic leafless plants of tropical Asia that has a very large, malodorous flower, and the others organisms that mostly in danger can be found in rain forests. Even, some organism that was never identified before often found in rain forest. For example, The Large Cavern Cockroach from Kalimantan which is said as the largest cockroach in the world. This Cockroach was found in a forest in Kalimantan lately.
Beside that, rain forests can be used for prevent and overcome Global Warming that has become the world problem. Rain forest can reduce the amount of gases that caused the global warming, one of them is Carbon Dioxide that has increased rapidly now. The increase of the carbon dioxide amount has make the greenhouse effect that was the main problem that cause global warming. At the normal amount, the carbon dioxide will keep the earth's surface temperature in stable condition. But, if the amount of Carbon dioxide was increased rapidly, the temperature on the earth surface will be hotter.
Now, many rain forest regions are in danger due the humans activitiess that care for the environment carelessly. Beside that, the explotion of the inhabitants also make the rain forest areas decreased rapidly due the nescessity of land especially in developing country like Indonesia. Illegal logging also the main problems that has make many people suffer. If the forests are cutting down, the lands which are the trace of forest won't able to stop the water current from rain and make disasters like floods and landslides. The moving fields also make the forest destroy because it make the forest become unfertile anymore.
Now, many effects are already happen, disaster everywhere, flood has sinks many area. Cyclones that were caused by global warming strucks many capitals. These were mostly caused by humans careless activities to environment. We must prevent it by protect our environment especially rain forests. We must care to it for our next generation. SAVE OUR EARTH IN ORDER TO COMMEMORATE THE INTERNATIONAL EARTH DAY!
THE RAINFOREST, NOW AND FUTURE (IN ORDER TO COMMEMORATE THE INTERNATIONAL EARTH DAY)
Animal is a multicellular eukariotic and heterotroph organism. This organism doesn't have a kind of cellular walls like the plant's and fungi's. Animal is different because they've two kinds of system that responsible for impulse transmittion and movement: nerves system and muscles that is the uniqueness of animal.
Beside that, the others characteristics that come from the animal's life histories have made the animals different. Almost all of the animals have a sexual reproduction system as the dominant reproduction system in their life cycle. Almost all of the animal's species have a little flagellate sperm that will fertilize the ovum cell that bigger than itself and form a diploid zygote that will cleavage through a mitosis proccess that will transform the zygote into two cells, then four cells, then eight cells until it transform into blastule, and gastrule.
Many scientists agree to classified the animals kingdom as a monophyletic creature. Monophyletic means if we can track down all of the animal's descendants line, animals will integrate at one ancesstor. This animal ancestor is estimated as a flagellate protiste that form a colony that live around 700 million years ago in The Cambrian Era.
One of the hypothesis about the origin of animal said that this animal ancestor is formed a ball with a big hole in it. Then, this ball experienced a specialization on it's cells. After that, this organism's cell surface form a fold that folded into it's inner part and finally become an organism called "Protoanimal" that has an appearance look like gastrule in the embrio development stage. But, no evidence cen be found until now.
Sahara is the name of the largest desert in the world. Sahara is located in the African continent, precisely near Egypt. This place called the most barren in the world. Although Sahara desert is the most barren place in the world, Sahara desert is a large forest in the past, this fact was found from the painting that is painted by the prehistoric humans on the wall of caves that show Sahara desert is a forest at that time. In addition, this finding strengthened by some fossils that identified as the pollen fossils. This is be pitied, because the forest is changed into Sahara desert only in 5500 year. The most likely cause of these changes is the humans who lived at the time of.
This is possible because in 5500 years ago, human still living with the hunt, farming and plant (simple farming). At that time, they still nomadize, as persecution by the ongoing planting and farming activities without considering the surrounding environment (such as burning forests for land clearing, moving fields), the environment become not fertile anymore. Then, they move and do the same activities. As a result, the forest region turns into the largest desert in the world, Sahara Desert.
However, some researchers through research said The Sahara Desert can be returned to it's initial conditions. The researchers found two potential locations that may become fertile again. However, the vegetation in these locations are in danger because the vegetation is highly dependent on the feedback that reinforce each other between the atmosphere and vegetation. The researchers said that with a little increase of rainfall in the Sahara desert that is caused by global warming, and the increase that followed by vegetation, Sahara desert will become fertile again.
However, Sahara Desert will really going like this in the future. This has long been known because it has written in the Al-Qur'an that was descent 14 centuries ago. In Al-Qur'an it is written that "the Sahara desert will become fertile again" as one of the sign of doomsday will come soon. This is already visible with the start of the rainfall that descents almost 10 times more rainfall than normal rainfall in the Sahara desert that has caused flooding in the desert, this is very confusing scientists, especially the results of research, rainfall is increasing from year to year. So it is very reasonable that Sahara desert will back into forest one day. Subhanallah!
Photosynthetic organism is an organism that use the energy of sun shine for "makes it's foods". Scientist usually call these organisms as "Autotrophe Organism". Autotrophe means these organisms can make their foods by themselves with the helps from the sun shine energy in a process called photosynthesis or chemosynthesis if the energy that help the process comes from chemical substance. One of the organism that classified as photosynthetic organism is plant.
Plant is one of creature that classified as photosynthetic organism. That's because it has a kind of organelle that can take benefits from the sun shine energy to help it to convert water, soil's substances, and carbon dioxide into carbohydrate / glucose, oxygen, and energy for itself. This organelle was called plastid / chloroplast. This organelle contains some pigment like chlorophyll for takes the energy of sun shine when the sunshine reach the leaves surface.
From a long research, scientists know that this organelle's structures are shaped look like the structure of a kind of a photosynthetic prokariotic cells. Even, the tilacoid membranes that were identified as the inner part of plastid / chloroplast are look similar with the organelles that were found in the photosynthetic prokariotic cells.
Because of that, a hypothesis about this organelle appeared. This hypothesis said that this organelle (plastid/chloroplast) was an organism in the past, exactly a photosynthetic prokariotic cells that symbiote with an eukariotic cell trough endosymbion, and become the ancestor of all of the photosynthetic organism. This hypothesis seems similar with the hypothesis of The Origin of Mytochondria. But, it is different. We know that the mytochondria were found in all of the eukariotic cells and the plastid/chloroplast were found only in the photosynthetic organism.
