ONE OF THE DOOMSDAY SIGN, SAHARA DESERT REFORESTATION

Diposkan oleh Rosmana A.P. Sunday, April 12, 2009

Sahara is the name of the largest desert in the world. Sahara is located in the African continent, precisely near Egypt. This place called the most barren in the world. Although Sahara desert is the most barren place in the world, Sahara desert is a large forest in the past, this fact was found from the painting that is painted by the prehistoric humans on the wall of caves that show Sahara desert is a forest at that time. In addition, this finding strengthened by some fossils that identified as the pollen fossils. This is be pitied, because the forest is changed into Sahara desert only in 5500 year. The most likely cause of these changes is the humans who lived at the time of.

This is possible because in 5500 years ago, human still living with the hunt, farming and plant (simple farming). At that time, they still nomadize, as persecution by the ongoing planting and farming activities without considering the surrounding environment (such as burning forests for land clearing, moving fields), the environment become not fertile anymore. Then, they move and do the same activities. As a result, the forest region turns into the largest desert in the world, Sahara Desert.

However, some researchers through research said The Sahara Desert can be returned to it's initial conditions. The researchers found two potential locations that may become fertile again. However, the vegetation in these locations are in danger because the vegetation is highly dependent on the feedback that reinforce each other between the atmosphere and vegetation. The researchers said that with a little increase of rainfall in the Sahara desert that is caused by global warming, and the increase that followed by vegetation, Sahara desert will become fertile again.

However, Sahara Desert will really going like this in the future. This has long been known because it has written in the Al-Qur'an that was descent 14 centuries ago. In Al-Qur'an it is written that "the Sahara desert will become fertile again" as one of the sign of doomsday will come soon. This is already visible with the start of the rainfall that descents almost 10 times more rainfall than normal rainfall in the Sahara desert that has caused flooding in the desert, this is very confusing scientists, especially the results of research, rainfall is increasing from year to year. So it is very reasonable that Sahara desert will back into forest one day. Subhanallah!

  8. As a phd in atmospheric biology I can confirm that we will not be seeing the forestation of the sahara for at least another
millenia and probably nearer to two millenia. Which as a follower of Islam and a reader of the Book doesn't coincide with the date predictions in the Great Book.

  10. Humans have great potential when we work together. If we can build Long and Wide Canals From the coast deep into the saharra desert, and cover the canal on both sides and over the canal with glass, then it can act like a huge water desalinisation plant and produce fresh water from the sea water to water plants.

  11. I have a group formed to convert the sahara back into a forest. I invite you all to join our group, please let me know if it is of interest to you. The more people who come together to create a network which will bring about the change the more likely it is to happen.

  37. Hi,
All the world's deserts will once again become fertile forested lands when Jesus comes again?
Today there are places in the US and in Burma where land was abandoned because it lost its vegetation and the soil washed away but a little hep in cultivating has made stream burst from the ground and thick vegetation grow.
The whole Sahara will be fertile once again - not just isolate spots.
